Alta Resort

Alta Ski resort is located 42 minutes Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC) This Resort feel at home kind of Resort where there is no Hotel  and all the lift feel like it is just right. There are many Beginner, Medium or Advance skier or snowboarder which you can tackle this Resort quickly and fun. If you are skiing or snowboarding from Snowbird you can ride the Alta express Gondola or a tunnel that takes you straight from Snowbird to Alta to ski for the half a day at Alta where your car is parked at Snowbird.  If you are planning to ski here they accepted Ikon Pass and Mountain Collective here at the resort.

Snowbird Resort

Snowbird Resort is located 40 Minutes from the Salt Lake City Airport (SLC). This Resort offer a local town feels to the skiing or snowboard feel since every lift is  hidden away and very easy to access. When you arrive it you walk down the step and take the 6 person lift to the top and you then can ski down to the front side or back side to catch a different lift or terrain. This Resort is Design for the Utah Local But you mainly see tourist at the Resort is Ikon Pass is trying to make the resort a big Deal with Utah resort. Most people complain about the parking situation which I think this resort need to improve on the parking since it is not worth the $30 parking if you cannot fine a decent spot to park and have to wait another 30-45 minutes. If you are planning to ski here they accepted Ikon Pass and Mountain Collective here at the resort.

Snowbasin Resort

Snowbasin Resort is just 48 mins from the Salt Lake city International Airport (SLC). This Resort offer a swiss environment with a lot of dining which is high end dining at the resort. When you are first arrive to the resort you first ride the 10 person gondola to the top the mountain. once you are up there you can ski or snowboard down to change to a different lift. Parking there is okay the road is not very well paved as well and once you park you would have to take the shuttle the main resort from the parking lot. If you go in the spring time March or April the snow is very icy and not very good. SO plan to go in winter November- March where the snow pack is much softer and easier to ski or snowboard. the ski level for the resort at the top is design and tailored for intermediate to advance skiers or snowboarders. There is no beginner on the top so be careful. The Beginner terrain is on the bottom away from the gondola where they have lift that bring you to the Beginner terrain as well.  If you are planning to ski here they accepted Ikon Pass and Mountain Collective here at the resort.

Park City mountain

Park city Mountain Resort is 48 Minutes from the Salt lake City international Airport (SLC).This resort offer two different mountain skiing or snowboarding park one is the Canyon mountain and other is the main Park city Mountain. This Resort offers a city type feel when you are walking thru to get to the lift as well. On the Park city mountain side the lift can access and transfer you to the Canyon Mountain side from Park city Mountain. They have a good Terrain and Staff is very friendly and very willing to assist with your question or issues. To get to this resort you would have to arrive earlier thirty minutes to an hour before they open to get the best parking spot. Starting 2024 they charge for parking which is standard parking is $20 and if you want a VIP Experience Parking the price goes up to $40 or Even $50 per day. But the price for parking would change per day. I went in March 2024 to ski at Park city Mountain and it  kind of Felt like a Keystone resort Colorado kind of town since you walk by the town before entering the resort lift. This Resort was also the host of 2002 & 2034  Winter Olympics. If you are planning to ski at this resort they accepted only the Epic pass to ski at Park City.
